Montison 10 contains montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist. It blocks the action of leukotrienes—chemicals that cause inflammation and tightening of airways—helping prevent asthma symptoms and relieve allergies.
- Take consistently at the same time daily.
- Take 2 hours before exercise if prescribed for that purpose.
- Safe for long-term use under medical supervision.
- Avoid alcohol if possible while on this medication.
- Inform your doctor about any liver issues or other medications.

Adults (≥15 years): 10 mg once daily (evening), with or without food
For exercise-induced asthma: Take 10 mg at least 2 hours before exercise (only one dose in 24 hours)
Children:
12–24 months: 4 mg (granules) once daily
2–6 years: 4 mg (chewable or granules)
6–15 years: 5 mg (chewable tablet)
No dosage adjustment required for elderly, renal, or mild/moderate liver impairment
Note: Always take at a consistent time each day. Swallow the tablet whole with water.
Store in a cool & dry place below 30°C, protect from light & moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
